A new painting from the 'Young Aviator Series'. Based on the Apollo program created and run by NASA. This particular painting draws the correslation between the immesurable ambition of this particular program and the imagination of a young boy with paper planes.

The young mind wouls see no difference between the two initiatives and what might be possible.

I created this painting in the hopes of re-connecting the young mind within us, with our untethered hopes and dreams. To re-ignite that sense of 'anything is possible'.

This particular painting is based on a friends' son who happens , by chance (or design) to also be named Apollo.

Each Tara Spicer fine art print is a limited edition print of an original oil painting.

Our prints are made in batches of 50 and are created using Archival Ink to Etching Rag. This is 100% cotton Fine Art paper with a smooth texture, reminiscent of the original genuine etching and printmaking . The prints are then coated in Varnish to protect the artwork.

Your print is carefully packed and delivered to you, rolled in a tube, signed and numbered within the border, by the artist. Sizing given includes a 5cm border.

Along with your chosen print will be a Certificate of Authenticity for your records.
