This painting is a little bit 'Alice'... a young lady, flying out the window with her tea set, mid-pour! Maybe she leapt, maybe she was cast out? But she looks a little too relaxed for such a scene, it looks like this isn't her first time in such a bizarre scenario.

Either way, she is 'groundless', in a universe of her own.
